Op 6 april komt Brian Wilson’s soloalbum No pier pressure uit. Dat is inmiddels Wilson’s elfde soloplaat.
Daarop speelden in zijn begeleidingsband in de aloude Ocean Way-studio’s in Hollywood tijdens de opnamesessies onder anderen drummers Jim Keltner en Kenny Aronoff, bassist en producer Don Was en gitarist Dean Parks.
Ook ex-Beach Boys Al Jardine, David Marks en Blondie Chaplin doen mee, net als hippe namen als Zooey Deschanel van She & Him, M. Ward, Nate Ruess van Fun en Kacey Musgraves.
