Op de soundtrack bij ‘Back to Black, Song from the Original Motion Picture’, de biopic over Amy Winehouse, komen twaalf songs te staan. Dat is de standaardversie.

Drie daarvan komen van Winehouse’ veelzijdige, maar onevenwichtige debuut ‘Frank’: ‘What Is It About Men’, ‘Stronger Than Me’ en ‘Know You Now’.

Drie andere songs komen van ‘Back to Black’: het titelnummer, ‘Love Is a Losing Game’en ‘Tears Dry on Their Own’.

Ook komen er songs op van Billie Holiday (‘All of Me’), Minnie Riperton (‘Les Fleurs’), Dinah Washington (‘Mad About the Boy’) en Sarah Vaughan in duet met Clifford Brown (‘Embraceable You ). ‘


Nick Cave componeerde de filmmuziek en levert ook een song, heel toepasselijk ‘Song for Amy’ geheten.

Op de Deluxe edition komen maar liefst veertien nummer meer te staan: behalve Winehouse’ ‘I Heard Love Is Blind’, ‘Fuck Me Pumps’, ‘(There Is) No Greater Love’, ‘Me & Mr. Jones’, ‘Rehab’ en een live-loungeversie (?) van ‘Valerie’ komen er ook nummers op van Thelonious Monk, the Specials, Little Anthony & the Imperials, the Shangri-Las, Donny Hathaway, the Libertines, Tony Bennett en Willie Nelson.

Behalve in twee verschillende cd-versies komt het album ook uit in twee lp-versies en uiteraard lekker gemakzuchtig digitaal.
