Inmiddels zijn de details over de gisteren door Bruce Springsteen officieel aangekondigde overzichtsbox ‘Tracks II’.
De voor 27 juni as. aangekondigde box bevat 82 nummers uit de periode van 1983 tot en met 2018, waarvan 74 nooit eerder uitkwamen.
Het wordt een box van zeven cd’s of negen lp’s, terwijl het geheel ook digitaal uitkomt.
Het gaat om zeven complete albums, waarvan sommige ook gemixt, maar desondanks destijds niet uitgebracht,
De set wordt voorzien van een gebonden boek dat honderd pagina’s telt met daarin foto’s uit Springsteen’s archief, liner notes bij elk album van Erik Flannigan en een voorwoord van Springsteen zelf.
Hij stelde de set zelf samen met producer Ron Aniello.
